Born in Montana on July 25, 1976 to a Thai mother and an English father, Tera Patrick actually spent most of her youth in San Francisco. While Tera was still a little girl, her mother left and moved back to Thailand, leaving Tera with her father. At the tender age of 13, Tera was discovered by a talent scout and soon thereafter signed with the Ford agency to do mainstream modeling work.

Though Tera possesses striking looks and an unbelievable body, she found it hard to get mainstream modeling work and eventually quit modeling, went to college and secured a degree in microbiology. This led to her becoming a nurse (image Tera coming in to give you a sponge bath!), but she felt herself being drawn by the lure of the camera and the fame and riches it could provide.

Eventually, temptation got the better of her and she began doing nude photo shoots and magazine layouts. She broke into porn under the screen name of Brooke Thomas, doing several foot fetish and bondage films. This led to an appearance in Andrew Blake's "Aroused".
